okay so my periods haven't been regular but I always have one. well in October I started on the 22nd, same day in November on the 22nd. I hadn't seen my boyfriend in 2 months until November 19th when we had sex. I still started my period on the 22nd.

Thank you for sharing your question with the community.  I understand how worried you must be feeling.  I'd love to give you some helpful advice on the matter.

First of all, if your boyfriend ejaculated into your vagina during intercourse and you are not using any kind of birth control; then your chances of getting pregnant are very high.

A dollar tree pregnancy test has the same accuracy as a test you will find a Walmart of Target.  However, there are pregnancy tests that are more sensitive.  If you really want to be sure that your money is worth spending, you should buy One Step Be Sure Pregnancy Test, First Response Early Results, Equate, or Confirm 1-Step which are all twice as accurate as the one you took.

You did not take the test too soon, however since it was negative you should also consider the other reasons why your period was late.  Things that can cause an irregular period are stress, too little sleep, anemia, illness, hormonal imbalances or taking medications to name a few.

If you periods continue to be irregular and you are still not pregnant, talk to your doctor in order to find out what is really going on.
