Hi Anon,

With the home pregnancy test, for the most accurate results, follow the instructions very closely.  You can administer another one, or she can have a more sensitive test done by her doctor.

Good luck.  If you are concerned about preventing pregnancy in the furture, it is not advised (an not a healthy solution) to use emergency contraceptive as a long term solution.

If you think there is a chance that you went a little further then initally thought or just want to rule pregnany out, have her take a pregnancy test.  The spotting and lite period are side effects of taking the Plan B/Emergency contraceptive.

Hi Anon,

Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community.

If you didn't penetrate her and ejaculate inside of your girlfriend then pregnancy is unlikely.  Both dizziness and tiredness are listed as temporary side effects of the Plan B pill.  Those symptoms should subside, but if they don't have her seek medical attention.

Emergency contraceptive (Plan B pill) serves to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex if taken correctly.  So even if you had participated in unprotected sex your girlfriend would be covered for preventing pregnancy if she took it as instructed.

Be well,
