I've recently had sex and the person and I did use protection, however was taken of towards the ends, although I am aware he did not ejaculate inside of me I believe he may have precummed. Should I be worried? What are the chances of me getting pregnant?

Hello-
July 26, 2018 - 6:26amPre-ejaculate itself does not contain any sperm. Sperm may be inside the urethra if a man ejaculated recently and did not urinate since. If he urinated since he last ejaculated, there is no sperm at all. Pregnancy is very uncommon from pre-ejaculate and the urethra would have to contain sperm at the same time. A woman would also have to be ovulating and engage in unprotected intercourse with ejaculation.

Hello mel03,
Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for coming to us with your question.
Pre ejaculate fluid is a bodily fluid that frequently seeps out of the penis during intercourse.
That caused the wet spot on your boyfriend's pants.
The majority of pre-ejaculate fluid contains dead or no sperm at all. In cases of a recent prior ejaculation, some sperm can remain in the urethra. The urethra is a tube that runs through the penis and is the exit for urine and semen during ejaculation. Once he urinates, any stowaway sperm is released.
Lastly, sperm cannot pass through clothing.
