I had anal sex the first week of my second pack of birth control he did not cm but I'm positive he pre cmed I'm scared I can be pregnant. I had bloodwork done yesterday they did a lipid panel and checked my hormone levels everything came back perfect but I'm concerned pregnancy wouldn't show up. I'm on the 2 day of placebo pills and still no period.

Hi Anon,

Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community.

Pregnancy can not occur as a result of anal sex. However, because the vagina is in close proximity I understand your concern. Unless the vagina has come into direct contact with the penis does your risk of pregnancy increase.

Anytime you are on birth control pills, your menstrual cycle can be irregular.

I hope this helps.

Be well,
