Pregnant or Period?

I had sex with my friend a few days after I had gotten off of my period we did not use a condom and I'm not on birth control i had decided that I didn't want contact with him anymore a few days after we had decided to stop talking I went pee and when I got done there was a little bit of blood on the toilet paper, it wasn't enough to cover a tampon at all but I was leaving for vacation and didn't wanna risk it, I have wore a tampon everyday for like 5 days just because I had spotted maybe like twice a day and it wasn't very much at all I'm not supposed to be starting my period for another week and I don't know why I'm spotting right now or bleeding early, my nipples have been sore but they don't really hurt until I take my bra off or at least that's when I notice it the most and my back hasn't hurt like it does when I'm on my period. HELP? Any suggestions? I haven't talked myself into telling him about any of this yet even though he would be there.

Does it just sound like a period though?

Hi Sophia,

If spotting before your period is not normal, then it's unlikely it will be your period. You will need to wait until your period is due and take a home pregnancy test if you don't get a full regular cycle.

Hi Sophia,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Anytime you have unprotected intercourse, your chances for a pregnancy to occur are higher. You might want to take a home pregnancy test to know if you are pregnant. Hope this was helpful?

Best,

Daisy
