June 5, 2016 - 11:22amIf you took the emergency contraception correctly (taking the second pill exactly 12 hours after the first) it will effectively prevent pregnancy.
Keep in mind that EC can cause side effects that include: bleeding a few days later, cramping, tender breasts and nausea.
