Q:

Sex with condom on, no ejaculation.

I've had sex for the first time with my boyfriend and he used a condom and he didn't ejaculate. The first time we did it was the week after my period ended but I missed the pill the day before and had to take 2 the next day at the beginning of the new pack. It didn't last for very long because he wasn't hard after the condom went on. He has reassured me that I couldn't get pregnant from what we did but there's always a slim chance of being pregnant from any type of intercourse. I also was on antibiotics for a recent recovery of strep and that lowered my birth control "powers" somewhat. I have about one more week left until my period is supposed to come, I've been having a white discharge and mild cramps. I don't think I could be pregnant because in order for an egg to be fertilized, there needs to be sperm. And in my case he didn't even ejaculate. But I would like reassurance to ease my paranoid mind. Thanks a bunch.

Hi, Anon.

Thanks for your question.

If he used a condom consistently and didn't ejaculate inside you (or at all from what you say) I don't see how you could get pregnant from this scenario. Try to relax. Your period will come. It's good you are using protection and birth control.

Best,
Helena
