Q:

Should I be concerned about bleeding?

My partner and I have never had intercourse, but we do engage in other forms of physical intimacy. On two separate occasions--one after dry humping and one after fingering--I experienced some bleeding within a few hours of the episode, and then it was done. On the one hand I think that because I'm a virgin, this might be totally normal and a product of maybe being accidentally too aggressive. On the other hand, I am very worried that something is wrong. Please let me know whether this sounds like something to be worried about, or if this is normal after experiencing new levels of intimacy!!!

Guide

Hello and thank you for sharing your question.
The vaginal bleeding in this scenario is unrelated to the "sexual activity" you had.
Spotting can happen between periods and it usually indicates slight hormonal imbalances. It is no cause for alarm.
Some girls experience bleeding during the first time of having intercourse, others do not. This bleeding occurs when the cervix is contacted. But fingering is not deep enough for this the happen.
