I know that it is mentioned on this site that sperm/precum cannot pass through clothing and dry sex with clothes on has no pregnancy risk. What exactly is the definition of clothing? Does it include female wearing only one layer of thin nylon and spandex material panties (not cloth or cotton material) with a naked male partner?
In my situation, my male friend’s precum was leaking from his penis and some of it got onto my thighs and waist. I had my panties on throughout, never took it off. I wiped it off immediately. I am worried now that some of his precum may have gotten onto my panties but I was wet so I could not tell anyway. Is there a pregnancy risk of some of his precum from his penis accidentally lands on my panties, which were wet with my own fluids?

Thanks Susan. The incident happened on 17 July and I did a pregnancy test on 3 August and the result is negative. It has been 17 days since the incident, are my results accurate? My cycle is irregular and usually it is about 41 to 43 days and my last period is on 25th june.

Hello Anon
Thank you for writing.
There is no risk, in your situation. Sperm is not designed to pass through clothing, especially non-breathable fabrics like Spandex or nylon. It provides a complete barrier. Additionally, sperm on thighs or your waist doesn't travel to find a vagina - it dries and dies right there. Only in the vagina are conditions favorable to swim upwards.
Also, pre-ejaculate does not contain any sperm unless a man has not urinated since his last ejaculate.
