Spot bleeding

We are trying for a baby with no luck so far i came off my period 2 days ago i had sex last nite and noticed that there was bright red blood spotting after we had finished and also the morning after we were not rough or anything so what could this mean?

Hi anonymous and thanks for your question.

A woman’s cervix, the narrow, lower end of the uterus, is usually the source of bleeding brought on by vaginal sex. If the cells of your cervix become inflamed or otherwise abnormal, sexual intercourse can cause enough friction to cause bleeding.

It's most likely that this bleeding is nothing to worry about, however, if it continues you should contact your doctor for assistance.
