July 25, 2015 - 10:06pmSpotting after sex in postmenopausal women is most often caused by the vaginal dryness that happens because of reduced estrogen levels.
However, you still need to see a gynecologist because there is also a big possibility if it being more serious such as Cervicitis or Vaginitis.
