I had sex on Friday night, I usually take my pill at 9:30pm but did not end up taking it until 9 am Saturday morning. Then Saturday night I did not have my pill pack with me so I took it Sunday morning at 9am. Should I be worried? Do I need a back up?

Hi Anon,
Welcome to EmpowHER. Anytime you missed a day of your birth control pills and have unprotected intercourse your chances are higher. Since you took them later on that day your chances are probably less. You will need to wait until your period is due and take a home pregnancy test. Hope this was helpful?
