I was so sure it would come soon, so we just let it happen. My period usually comes on time (an average of 28 days, with 33 as my longest recorded cycle) but now I'm more than a week late. It's day 37.
By now, my delayed ovulation and fertile week would have caught up to the time we had sex, and this is why I'm worried. We don't have an escape anymore.
A day ago, I tested and it came out negative. And throughout this cycle, I haven't had any PMS nor pregnancy symptoms.
We plan on waiting a bit more and testing. If ever we get a positive, we might have to do something we never thought we'd do. I am terrified.

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
June 11, 2016 - 6:44amAt this point, all you can do is wait, and take another pregnancy test a bit later on. If the results are negative, you can be sure your period is late for other reasons besides pregnancy.
Below I have pasted a link to a HER article that explains the possible reasons for a irregular or missed period.
