What are my chances of getting pregnant if i missed one pill and made it up ASAP?

I missed one pill Thursday night, in my third week, but made it up as soon as i woke up on Friday morning. I also took my pill about 3 hours late on Saturday night, which would have been my last active pill. My boyfriend and I had sex soon after. We used a condom, but it broke. He had already went shortly before we had sex. He went inside of me not knowing the condom broke, but he barely went. What are my chances of getting pregnant?

Hi Maryann, I have started the inactive pills and yes, I have started to bleed. I appreciate your response. Thank you!

Hello,

I have been on continuous birth control for about one year to stop my periods for health reasons.
I missed my pill Tuesday night, took my normal Wednesday night pill. On Thursday night I had unprotected sex and missed my pill. I then took the missed pill in the morning on Friday (about 12 hours late) and took Plan B at the same time. Continued with my Friday night pill and every pill since then. Are my chances of pregnancy high?

Hello Anonymous,

Please contact your gynecologist and share all this information.

Missing doses of birth control pills, taking Plan B and having intercourse without back-up protection need to be addressed by your doctor, who can better assess your risk for pregnancy.

I missed the first pill of my new pack (Sunday) took it on Monday, and had unprotected sex on Wednesday and Thursday. Do I need EC?

Hello Brookefrost10,

No need for an emergency contraceptive. If you ever miss another dose, take it as soon as you realize it and take that day's pill as well.

I had unprotected sex tonight, and I'm on the pill. I didn't realize until after we had sex that I didn't take my birth control today, but I've taken it everyday so far this pack. Am I at risk of pregnancy and should I purchase the morning after pill?

Hello Anonymous,

I think you should be protected, but before you use an emergency contraceptive, please speak with your gynecologist.

Hi, I took a pill late a few days back by about 4 hours. I have been taking them sort of on time these past few days, I've been taking them in the two hours window. Last night I had sex and the condom broke but we noticed right away and he pulled out. Is there a risk at pregnancy for me? Should I take Plan B?

Hello Anonymous,

No need for an emergency contraceptive. Continue to try to take your daily pill at the same time.
