What are my chances of getting pregnant if i missed one pill and made it up ASAP?

I missed one pill Thursday night, in my third week, but made it up as soon as i woke up on Friday morning. I also took my pill about 3 hours late on Saturday night, which would have been my last active pill. My boyfriend and I had sex soon after. We used a condom, but it broke. He had already went shortly before we had sex. He went inside of me not knowing the condom broke, but he barely went. What are my chances of getting pregnant?

Hello, my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex Friday morning and he finished inside me. It is now Saturday afternoon and I just realized I missed my Friday birth control. I am taking Syeda birth control and am in the third week of the pack and I have four days left before my placebo week. Just wondering if there is any chance of pregnancy or what I should do in terms of taking the pills?

Hello Anonymous,

It is now Monday. What did you do? Did you continue taking the remaining pills?

Hello, my name is Luna and I missed my pill Tuesday evening of a brand new pack and had unprotected sex Wednesday night. Right when I got home I began the new pack but only took one for that night. I also had unprotected sex Saturday night. Am I at risk and how much risk ?

Hello Luna,

You are at risk when you miss an active pill, don't make up for that by taking the missed pill as soon as possible, and having unprotected intercourse. You are at a higher risk when you miss a pill early in the start of a new pack.

Were you taking the placebo pill on Saturday when you had intercourse? If so, were you having vaginal bleeding at the time?

Not taking your pills regularly decreases your protection. Birth control pills prevent pregnancy by preventing ovulation. If you miss pills, you trigger your body to ovulate and there lies the risk for pregnancy.

Regards,
Maryann

Hello Maryann,

I had just ended my period when I had intercourse Wednesday night (it has come to my attention that we also did it Thursday as well). And I had ended my placebo pills Monday. Saturday I was in my first week of a new pack so my period was over by then. Sunday night I took a Morning After pill to try to cover my tracks. And for the record, he had not "finished" in me.

Just curious, i started birth control last monday but forgot to take my tuesday one and never made it up but i have been taking them daily since then. My boyfriend and I plan to have unprotected sex this upcoming friday. Is this a bad idea since i missed one?

I had sex with my boyfriend after I got off my period. I've been on the pill for several months now but I'm on the first week of my next pack and he finished in me 3 times. I have never missed a pill and this is the first time he's finished in me ever. Could I get pregnant?!

I have been on the pill for 3 years now. I haven't ever missed a pill before. I missed one pill last night and had sex last night. I usually take the pill at 10pm every night and didn't realize it till tonight. Could I possibly be pregnant?
