Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
Ejaculation needs to occur in order for sperm to be present. But keep in mind that sperm only lives a few minutes in open air. If no ejaculation occurred, then no pregnancy can occur.
If he did ejaculate, then cleaned himself, the sperm was most likely dead by the time the penis made contact with the vagina.
