Hi! My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex on my second day of cycle. He pulled out. But on the 21st day of my cycle i had a light discharge of blood. This one happened to me like last yr too after I donated blood. I normally have a cycle of 24-32 days so I waited to finish my cycle before I took pregnancy test. im delayed. I took it in the morning and the result was negative. What are the reasons of delayed menstruation? Am I pregnant? Should I test again after another days? Please reply!!!

Many things can impact the menstrual cycle, stress, a lifestyle change, illness, etc, It's not uncommon to occasionally have a late period. That said, if you feel you might have tested too soon, (less than a week after a missed period) wait another week and test again. For future, using protection is more reliable than the pullout method as accidents can easily happen.
