Q:

Why can't sperm travel through thin clothing if it can make clothes wet?

Hello Ms. Maryann! I asked a question regarding dry hump about 3 days ago and thank you for your response. It was much appreciated. I'm still a little unsure about somethings, you had said that having my period and a negative pregnancy test was proof that I am not pregnant and that my period is presenting a certain way because of high stress level. So my question is that I had a thin cotton underwear on with veryyyy thin, stretchy, silky p.js and he had on thin basketball shorts and after we were done dry hump my clothes felt sightly damp. And I've read peoples situation where both parties had jeans and underwear on, yet they felt wet or females saw spots on or inside their underwears and in my case I had extremely thin layers of clothes so how come seamen or sperm can't seep through fabric? Also my stomach has come out a little and I feel bloated could that mean that I'm pregnant?

My apologies for taking up so much of your time and asking the same questions that you have answered a million times, but I really would appreciated our expert advice and feed back
Thank you!

Hello, Anon.

Your question (this time) did not go to Maryann directly. It was posted in a new "Ask". If you go back to your original post, where Maryann replied to you, you can correspond with her there, if you like.

As to your question, while ejaculation can wet clothing, even seep a bit, there is no way for it to travel beyond that and inside you. It can only cause your clothing to be wet.

Best,
Helena
