I haven't had a period since september of last year.(2014) currently I wanna sleep all the time. My stomach cramps and hurts quite frequently, and my breasts hurt. I can't sleep on my stomach, or even on my side. I can hardly wear a regular bra. Sports bras have become my best friend. I have taken pregnancy tests but all have come back negative. I do have ovation cycts but they have never hurt. My partner and I are active, but we don't use protection of any kind. Haven't in two years. I am not sure what is going on with my body but its quite annoying.

Hello, and thank you for sharing your question.  I'm sorry to hear of this discomfort you are experiencing.  i'd love to shed some light on the matter.

Whenever you stop having regular periods it a usually due to a hormonal imbalances.  Since you are also having negative symptoms I suggest that you see a doctor to test your hormone levels.  Doctors usually suggest that you start taking birth control pills which contain the necessary hormones to give you a regular period.  In addition, it should stop the negative symptoms if hormonal imbalances are the cause.

If you start taking birth control pills but still have tender breasts, cramps, and trouble sleeping, I suggest you have a pap swear.  This will give more insight to other possible causes.

Let us know if you have any more questions.
