Keri introduces herself and recalls how long she and her husband tried to get pregnant.
Keri:
We were dating for quite a while and then shortly after we got married, about six months after, we realized that there was kind of an issue, and I went to the doctor and rather than waiting a year--usually the doctor says keep on trying for a year and then come back and see me--I went immediately to her and I explained, “I have been off birth control for quite a while now and having unprotected sex, and then it just, it hasn’t happened.”
So immediately she started working us up and there was a series of tests that we needed to go through during probably about a six-month period of time that we needed to see to figure out what the issue was, and those tests started with the woman first. A lot of times they start with man, but I opted to do my tests first to see.
