Fibroids, depending on their location, cause different symptoms. If they’re inside the uterus, I can show you a diagram, it will help explain this a little bit more, assuming you’re going to have a chance to look at that diagram. If they’re inside the uterus, inside the cavity of the uterus, they cause heavy bleeding and even a small fibroid, the size of a golf ball, can cause catastrophic bleeding for a woman.
If they are on the outside of the uterus, what we call subserosal, you don’t have to know anything more than they can grow to be the size of melons, cantaloupes, and just cause pain and pressure.
