Dear Abby Shares The Advice She Gives Alzheimer's Caregivers (VIDEO)

Rate This

Dear Abby, who advocates for women every day, now shares the advice she gives Alzheimer's disease caregivers.

Dear Abby:
I am so glad you asked me that question. My advice to an Alzheimer’s caregiver, whether it’s a woman or a man, is do not try to do it all alone. It’s so important for your own health that you reach out, you join a support group and you involve yourself with other people who are going through this process because it is a process and it will save your health, it will save your strength, and it will save your sanity. Don’t try to do it alone.
