It’s interesting, there’s less information on Asperger’s kind of out there available. There are a couple of very good websites. Our website which is autism.fm, www.autism.fm, has a pamphlet on diagnosis of Asperger’s. There are some very good parent groups. There’s the Aspen organization, I can’t tell you the website which can probably interpolate it in, but there are some good websites that provide some basic information, but there’s less out there on Asperger’s Syndrome than there is on autism.

Fred Volkmar, M.D. is the director of the Yale University Child Study Center and Irving B. Harris Professor of Child Psychiatry, Pediatrics and Psychology at Yale University, where he heads the university's autism research and autism clinic. He is also Chief of Child Psychiatry at Yale-New Haven Hospital. His research focuses on understanding the fundamental nature of autism and developing better guidelines to diagnose autism and related conditions.
