  I have done some reading on both. His first cousin is autistic. My son started "changing" around the age of three.

  

  my 24 year old son was recently diagnosed with schizoid personality disorder but I'm wondering, could it be Asperger's?

  My son is 15 and has just been diagnosed with Asbergers - he is a talented bagpiper and the school has seen fit to remove him from the bagpipes. He is now depressed and questioning why everyone wants to hurt him?

  Any parent with a young adult who has been diagnosed and has had success with the Social Security System or finding a doctor who can diagnose the sympton, please I need your help. Cathy

  

  My son is 20 and was diagnosed with Asperger's at age 15. I have applied for Social Security for him but he has been denied three times. I am currently looking for a doctor who specializes in Aspergers but can't find one. We live in Middlesex County.

  My 8 yr old son is in the third grade and I think he may have Aspergers syndrome but im not sure . He has quite a few of the symptoms such as Hes what I call unique kids at school say hes weird, he is not someone that you can joke with b/c most the time

  My husband has asperger's, and now we are realizing our daughter also has AS. Most of the stress in our home comes from the 2 of them in constant conflict.

  

  Can anyone direct me to information for parents with asperger's that are raising a child with asperger's?
