Sophia Shares How Shopping Has Changed Since Gastric Bypass Surgery (VIDEO)

After having the gastric bypass surgery I enjoy shopping more. I am a shopaholic now. I never was before. I just love it. I am now able to fit into a size small. Never, not even in high school was I able to. I enjoy it. I just, I’m amazed by how there’s things I can fit into, how I look, just everything. I always tried to go one size bigger, thinking, oh, you know, I am not going to be able to get into that small size, but I fit into it now.

I think I shop more now than I ever did before. There are a lot more cuter things out there. I just enjoy it now. My kids will be right there, “Yeah, you look good in that,” you know. That’s always great, you know. My kids have always been great with me, and they, you know, are very supportive and I just love it now, shopping, and, you know, we just have a good time.
