Heel pain causes people to change their exercise routines, avoid walking and stop enjoying normal activities, but there are plenty of gadgets that relieve plantar fasciitis symptoms. Get heel pain relief with simple devices that help you during your waking and sleeping hours.
Plantar fasciitis symptoms
Plantar fasciitis symptoms can be extremely painful. Heel pain causes you to change the way you walk, and may even keep you from working or engaging in normal everyday activities. Plantar fasciitis symptoms literally feel as though your foot is being smacked with a hammer; an isolated spot of terrible pain. The heel pain is caused by damage and tearing to the tendons inside your calves. Simple living can bring about this pain, though plantar fasciitis is more common in people who run and/or exercise heavily, athletes, those who are overweight and women.
Gadgets for plantar fasciitis
Various gadgets are made for feet that suffer from painful plantar fasciitis symptoms. Use a gadget that’s made to stretch or support to rehabilitate your pained foot and prevent painful plantar fasciitis.
Night splints. Designed to hold your foot in a specific position while you sleep, night splints keep your muscles from tightening up during the night. The split will keep your foot stretched out to relieve heel pain.
Foot braces. Like night splints, foot braces help to hold your foot in a specific position. The brace will not only keep your foot stable, it will also keep your heel supported. The brace prevents you from further damaging your tendons while you go about your daily business. Keeping your foot in a steady position is a good way to relieve pain, but it will not effectively treat plantar fasciitis symptoms. Cushioning and supporting your heels will keep pain from getting worse and prevent plantar fasciitis. Heels need good support to stay healthy.
Rocker. Foot rockers, like the Plantar Fasciitis Relief Rocker, help you stretch out your foot to relieve heel pain. Rockers have a curved design. You put your foot on the curved top and rock the curved bottom on the ground. Stretching exercises are very effective at treating and preventing plantar fasciitis symptoms. Foot rockers are expressly designed to make stretching easy, but you can get a similar stretching/massaging effect with a golf ball (which is also round) or a full water bottle.
