I'm constantly embarrassed every time I have sex with my boyfriend because of the smell. It's annoying and makes me not even want to have sex, which in turn makes my boyfriend think I'm not interested in him anymore. What is the best way to get rid BV? I DO NOT want to douche, as I've heard too many negative comments about it and how it can permanently mess up the pH in the vagina. I just would like it to go away, and I've read a few home remedies but I'm not sure which is going to work best...

Anon - The recommended way to get rid of bacterial vaginosis is though antibiotic treatment. Flagyl taken in pill form or by vaginal gel is an effective cure. Also available is vaginal clindamycin cream. You can find more information here:
