Hi Lizzy.REL,

Welcome to EmpowHER.   You might want to try adding pillows at night so that you are in a upright position, This allows the phlegm or mucus to come up more easily. Vicks is usually applied to the chest area at night,  to ease the sensation to cough.  You will need to discuss with your doctor as to applying it to your feet.
