I had sex with my partner. He had gondon on, but after he came he stayed inside me probably to long and after he hot out his gondon with sperm stayed in me. We took it out, but is there high risk of pregnancy in this case?
It was 4 days ago, I've done test today- it's negative.
Please ask asap

thank you!

Yes, all the sperm in the condom means low risk. According to most condom packages, I think it's 98% effective when used correctly. According to the Planned Parenthood website, the way to make condoms more effective is to use them with a spermicide (nonoxynol-9), or to pull out before ejaculation.

Hi Anonymous,
Thank you for your question and for finding EmpowHER. Good for you for protecting yourself from unwanted pregnancy and STDs. If the condom didn't break (it came out intact), you probably won't get pregnant (low risk). If it did break, there of course is more chance. However, four days after is too soon to know for sure (pregnancy test wouldn't be accurate). When is your next period due?

Dear Christine, thank you for your quick reply. It did not break, but my partner got out of me without it and gandon stayed inside me for min with sperm inside before he took it out. Period is end month, 30 August. Is it really low risk? Thank you for your support
