Hello scarter53,
Progesterone capsules are indicated for use in the prevention of endometrial hyperplasia in postmenopausal women who have not had a hysterectomy and who are also receiving estrogen tablets. Endometrial hyperplasia is the increase in the number of normal cells in lining of the uterus. Progesterone capsules are also indicated for use in the treatment of secondary amenorrhea, which is the cessation of menstruation for abnormal reasons.
Fatigue is not caused by or relieved by taking Progesterone. You need to discuss your feeling of fatigue with your physician. Once the cause is found, recommendations can follow.

I was given an injection of Estradiol and then prescribed the pills I have complained about the fatigue and now weight gain she mentioned going to a patch. All very confusing I was using a cream from GNC not helping with all symptons finally decided to try bioidentical route. I do believe my fatigue is adrenal related and have added DHEA to my supplements hoping will help. I see them again next week thank you for this information.
