Hi lonelybrokenangel

I'm sorry you have been losing your hair like this. You may have balding, just like men do. Women go bald as well.

You may also have some kind of hair loss condition aside from general baldness; it could be alopecia or something in that family. Click here for more info: http://www.empowher.com/condition/hair-loss

You could also have a medical problem (for example, with your thyroid or endocrine system) that is causing this or an inordinate amount of stress. Do you think that could be the case?

Please see your doctor about this, to find the cause and discuss possible treatments. Read this article here: http://www.empowher.com/media/reference/dealing-hair-loss-women

I hope you can get help and please stay in touch with us!

Best,

~Susan

Hi lonelybrokenangel, I'm also dealing with hair loss for a long time now and I've been through so much to know about what I can do and I thought I'd share some useful information I know with you.

Let me ask you this first have you been to a endocinologist to check your thyroid, if you haven't I'd say go for sure. Hair loss is common in women and usually they say to check the thyroid first because source of hair loss comes from thyroid problems.

If thyroid shows normal it is a huge possibility that you don't have enough Iodine in your body. Low iodine levels are a huge factor in hair loss and it's possible you don't have enough Iodine. Speak to your doctor about checking you iodine levels. This doctor explains about hairloss and iodine defficiency and it's helpful information. www.helpmythyroid.com.

When you have enough iodine thyroid functions better and hair regrows.

If you have any questions let me know.

Well, first and foremost,I HairDocTK, have 27 plus years in the hair loss arenas, as I personally have suffered hair loss as well in my late ties up till about 2 years ago. It still has a long way to go but i am recreating myself and others through organic health wellness and beauty. This is NOT a one answer question as generally hair loss stems from an under lying medical condition.Hair, skin, nails, are all external appendages to our inner self, when there is "DIS EASE" aka disease in the body it attack certain parts of each of us, hair skin, nails, gut, joints, etc.

Tell me this, what is the PH of you natural body state upon awaking without food drink? and you DHEA numbers? This is where i start with ALL my clients and how i can move forward to help you with my own personal advice and my expertise in this field.
