I had complications at child birth, my uterus and ovaries were completely removed. Since that time I have been having a lot of health challenges. I had wanted to take HRT but I was advised not to go for it bcos of the attached risk. Ideas on options pls?

Hi sina3x3a,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Depending how severe are your symptoms.  Some women choose not to take HRT because of their family history or because of it's risk. Some of the natural treatments can include, regular exercise, eating healthy food, not smoking, try stress reduction techniques, losing weight to help reduce hot flashes. 

It might be good to speak to your doctor about your symptoms.
