i m trying to fall pregnant, my periods are not due until next week the 27th. i dont know whether i should have a pregnancy test??

Most medical professionals I've talked with suggest waiting until after a missed period to take a home pregnancy test. Some pregnancy tests say on the box that they can detect a pregnancy (the hormones present in early pregnancy), up to 5 days before a missed period. But the results would be more accurate if you wait until you've missed your period. Some say to wait a full 5 days after a missed period even.
Are hot flashes your only symptom? Have you been diagnosed with a condition since you said in your other post that you didn't know if you were ovulating?
