Hello Anon

Thank you for reaching out to EmpowHER with your question!

Most moles are fine but this is something that you do need to have checked.

New moles (especially if you are exposed to the sun which is very common for your face) always need to be checked to make sure that they are not potentially cancerous.

Skin cancer is on the rise. Have this seen by your doctor and have any other moles you may have checked too (if you have them) just to be sure. Doctors and hospitals can seem a little scary but they are here to get and keep you well. A checkup could make a huge difference.

As said, most moles are fine but anything new or changing in color/texture warrant a checkup. It's probably nothing - our family do it often.
