Yes, I even have an alarm to make sure I take it at the same time every day.

If you are on birth control, using it consistently and correctly every time, this is considered "protected" sex from pregnancy. Pregnancy protection is one primary reason women use birth control (they also use it to regulate periods, etc.).
However, you are having unprotected sex from STDs/STIs (sexually transmitted diseases/infections), and it is highly recommended to use a condom during sex.

Well, this was the first time we hadn't used a condom. But most likely I won't get pregnant from this one time?

Aren't you using birth control pills to prevent pregnancy? The pill is 99% effective at preventing unwanted pregnancy WITHOUT a condom.
It is smart to continue to use condoms, to protect against STDs/STIs as I mentioned, but just wanted you to be clear that you are using birth control pills consistently and correctly (meaning: each day/night at the same time, without missing pills). Is that right?
