ask: Is it normal to feel lightheaded, dizzy, and short of breath in pregnancy?

I am a very fit person. You can see from my profile that I am a fitness professional, and I have a video for prenatal exercise. I exercise every day and have never had a heart problem. But for the last couple of days, I have been short of breath, dizzy, and lightheaded. I couldn't stand for most of the day Sunday or Monday. When I did, I felt suddenly winded. Is this normal? If not, what could the problem be? With 5 weeks left in my pregnancy, is this going to continue to be normal?

Yes! After all, your body is trying to support two people. Plus, you're now getting ready for the arrival of your baby. I think the last trimester, particularly the last month, was the hardest to get through.

I remember feeling winded, dizziness when rising from a chair, and so light-headed that I would forget what I was doing. OK, so now my hubby blames that on menopause, LOL!

Just take it easy. You're fit enough that I'm sure you'll be fine over these last few weeks.

Boy or girl? Please remember to come back and let us know!
