ask: is it possible for me to be prenant after i had sex in two days to my menstrual cycle?

i am 28 years old now,i had sex last when i was 22years old then.... now i had sex in two days to my menstrual period.....and i also had another sex in five or six days after my period... please can that make me to get pregnant ?

Hi Omolayo,

Thanks for asking your question. During your menstrual cycle, you would have been infertile, and getting pregnant would be unlikely. However, 5-6 days after your period you should have been fertile and there is a possibility of getting pregnant if you had unprotected sex.

If you do not get your period when expected, it is a good idea to take a pregnancy test.

In the future however, it is best to use protection to avoid a pregnancy scare.
