Hi there!

You can take a pregnancy test as soon as you expect your next period.

Good luck,

Hi jdimayuga

Thanks for your post!

EmpowHER has many questions to answer for our readers so we appreciate your understanding that you can no longer ask these questions over and over. Rather than posting new questions all the time, you can reply to a Moderator on a thread where you have already been helped. This will cut down on multiple postings on the same subject and can help you keep track of all the questions that have already been answered which will make things easier for you.

If you need a full education on sex, then meeting with a health care provider is a good idea.

To briefly answer your question above, it's never "safe" to have unprotected sex because we can ovulate early or late in our cycles, even days after having our period.

For more information, I think this article will help you, as can your gynecologist. http://www.empowher.com/sex-amp-relationships/content/misconceptions-sex

You may also benefit from a sex education course - you can try at your high school or at a community college.
