Ok - so after months of joining this site I am finally going to ask a question instead of trying to find it on my own. I am 33 yrs old and when I was 29 I had ovarian cancer. Now I know I should feel happy that I did survive it and I am but that cancer put me into menopause and that is sucking the life out of me. I had a total hysterectomy everything gone. I haven't slept in 4 yrs, my hair is falling out and of course my sex life doesn't exist anymore. It's hard for me to express my feelings to my family and friends because my menopause was not naturally and people just don't understand what menopause actually does to you. I know that some people don't have any problems with it but I feel like my 30's and 40's are gone and all of a sudden I am in my 50's dealing with menopause. Do you believe that I had it before my mom - she is going through it now. To me that is just sad.

I am 52, I hate this time of my life, it is worse than being 13, I hate the way I smell, I cant wash the old lady smell off me, I look in the mirror and I cant believe how ugly and invisible I have become. My children are embarrassed to be seen with me they are teens and say I am old fat and ugly. What a trap, you are cute and attractive, have kids, they are cute, they become older and think you are ugly. We are all entrapped by our hormones. We get the strong urges to have babies in our late twenties and if we dont have them in our thirties we freak out, then, we are like a dead plant in our fifties in the 75% clearance section ready to be thrown out. Im gross

That really good you feel well. All women should know that there is no need to suffer. Replacing your hormones will make you whole again.

Good job. Please help spread the word. So many menopausal women are unaware of the benefits and safety of bioidentical hormones.

Hello Menopauseat29,
February 7, 2011 - 10:24pmIt pains me to hear your story. I use cyclical, rhythmic, bioidentical hormones in my peri-menopausal, menopausal, and post-menopausal patients every day, and I'm sorry you haven't found a supportive doctor. You definitely need to find a bioidentical hormones doctor who is an expert in the Wiley Protocol. Please let me know if there are any questions I can answer for you.
