My 15 year old the tip of her nipple is white.. What could that be?

This could just be a normal variation in her skin, as her body is developing. There are many glands and pores in the areola and surrounding tissue, and they can become slightly darker or lighter as change in hormones (throughout the cycle) effect this tissue.

The time to call her doctor would be if any discharge is coming from her nipple, is sore, painful or warm/hot to-the-touch. Is she experiencing any symptoms?
