Hi,
October 5, 2011 - 5:16pmIs it a superficial cyst( on the outside surface of the breast) or within the breast tissue? Either way, bleeding is not normal. A superficial cyst could be blocked sebaceous gland and not a serious medical condition. However, breast cysts are common in women in their 30s and 40s and they usually disappear after menopause, unless you're taking hormone therapy. Breast cysts don't require treatment unless a cyst is large and painful or otherwise uncomfortable. In that case, draining the fluid from a breast cyst can ease your symptoms.
It is something that should be evaluated by your physician.
