I've heard you usually have a high TSH with Hypothyroidism. What could a normal/low TSH indicate with Hypo symptoms and Not Hyper symptoms? My TSH keeps going lower and is now 1.6. I am experiencing weight gain, am tired, etc. Thanks...

Hi hickes,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Sometimes TSH level could be normal in blood work, but symptoms can appear earlier due to nodules in thyroid.  You need to discuss with your doctor, your results.  Maybe a thyroid ultrasound would help him in finding the right treatment for you.  Medication for thyroid, can help with all your symptoms.

Here are some resources for you
