severe itching all over

last week a friend spent the night who was itching severely. I didn't think it was contagious. There is no accompanying rash or signs of scabies between toes or fingers. Do I need to go in?

Hi Anonymous,

Are you now experiencing severe itching all over? If you have no symptoms then there is no need for you to go to the doctor. If you are now experiencing itching all over your body then it was likely contagious and you should see your dermatologist regarding what could be the cause.
