Have had the pain for about 6 days. Have also been having very painful leg cramps especially in this leg. Have been icing it couple times daily. Am on my feet up to 12+ hours a day as I have a bed & breakfast and October is very busy.

Take ibuprofen ( about 2 - 4 tablets daily) magnesium powder and/or apple cider vinegar for leg cramps and leg cramp tablets. Could this be a blood clot?
I have atrial fib.

Rosa Cabrera RN Guide

Hi Anonymous,

Sorry to hear about your leg pain!

Symptoms of a blood clot or DVT are:

Pain
Swelling of a limb
Tenderness along the vein, especially near the thigh
Warmth
Redness, paleness, or blueness of the skin of the affected limb

If you are feeling cramping, you may have pulled something. It doesn't sound like DVT but you should still have it checked out when you get a chance and try to rest as much as possible.

Best,

Rosa
