If sperm is on your hands will it die pretty quickly or does it take a long time?

My boyfriend and I were touching each other under our clothes and he got wet. I can't remember if he touched himself where he was wet or not and if he did I don't remember if he wiped it off or not. I think around 30sec-2 min later he touched the front of my vagina where the lip/split is. I was on my period and had a tampon in could I be pregnant?

Recently, my girlfriend gave me and hand job and I came in my pants, shortly after I touched it and it was still wet, and after that I fingered her. Is there any chance she could be pregnant?

Hello Anonymous,

There was no chance that she could have become pregnant because all sperm remained in your pants and could not have gotten on your fingers.

A month ago, I gave my boyfriend a handjob and he ejaculated inside his boxers, after 5-10 mins I began riding him while he is wearing his boxers and I was naked. Is there any chance of pregnancy? Also.. Today I gave him a blowjob and he got some on his hands and then wiped it away.. Then he began to finger me Is there any chance of pregnancy?

Hello Anonymous,

There should have been no pregnancy risk the first time because he was wearing boxers. There was probably no risk the second time because he wiped semen off his hands. However, washing with soap and warm water would have been better.

Anonymous, if you are not ready to become pregnant, please start using birth control.

My bf and I had protected sex, he came in the condom and removed it afterwards but never really wiped his penis off with anything. We put our clothes back on and bout an hour or so later, we had sex without a condom and he clearly pulled out before he came inside me. Could I get pregnant from semen that may have been leftover from the first intercourse with the condom?

Hello Anonymous,

Since the second encounter occurred about one hour later, most likely any residual semen had dried and sperm had died. Sperm can live outside the body about 20 minutes.

However, the pull out method is not very reliable and you took a risk.

Hello Susan, can you please help me?
I'm pregnant and I'm not 100% sure who the dad is. One guy I had sex with and one guy I only gave oral to and some of the cum got on my fingers and hands. I drove home and went to the bathroom and wiped myself before washing my hands. My question is, is there ANY possible way I got pregnant from the leftover semen on my fingers if I accidentally touched my vagina with those fingers when going to the bathroom?? Please help me. I just want to be positive that the dad is the person I had sex with and not the person I just gave oral to. What is the likelihood of semen that was about 10 minutes old on my fingers getting me pregnant? PLEASE help!! Thank you Susan

My girlfriend was handjobing me and I ejaculated in my pants and underwear but I touched the wet part of my pants and then fingered her. Is there any chance of her getting pregnant

Hello Anonymous,

There would be a chance of her becoming pregnant if this happened five days before or on the day she was ovulating. Wet semen contains live sperm, which you introduced into her vagina. If a fertile egg was released, there was a good chance for conception.

Maryann
