Hi. I'm 25 yrs of age. My fiance and I had unprotected intercourse about a week ago, the day after my period had ended. in this last week i had the most painfull tender breasts that lasted for only 2 days it hurt even when my bra touched it. Now that has gone its always itchy and im having light headaches on and off, having funny tummy cramps and light nausea but never vommit and also slight back pain and im ALWAYS hungry and im not much of a big eater. I urinate more often than i ever have and it feels so uncomfortable that i need to go immediately as if i would wet my pants but when im in the ladies nothing much happens or its not even that much as it feels. what does all of this mean? It cant be possible to tell so early if im pregnant or even have the symptoms right?

Hi Mandy,

Thank you for your question. All the symptoms you explained in your question are symptoms of pregnancy: frequency of urination, nausea, sore breasts, etc. Have you taken a pregnancy test? The onset of pregnancy symptoms are different for each woman. Some women experience them right away and others may never experience them.

Since you have so many symptoms of pregnancy, take a pregnancy test to be sure. Could you keep us updated on the results?

Hi again :-) Thanks so much for your advice. I have not taken a pregnancy test as I thought under normal circumstances a home pregnancy test will only be accurate after you have missed a period and thought its best i wait till then seeing that its only been about a week and a few days since we had unprotected sex. Is there perhaps a faster way of findinding out so soon other than the urine test? The suspense is killing me and dont want to get all excited for nothing.
