You might have a urinary tract infection. Make an appointment with your doctor or visit a health clinic to have a urine culture done.

Hi,
It is possible to become pregnant while having your period but highly unlikely. This can happen if you have a very short menstrual cycle or a tendency for very long periods. This would bring the time of ovulation closer to the time when you would start bleeding. It is probably unlikely that you are pregnant. But, the only way to be certain is to do a pregnancy test. If you want to know right away, you can make an appointment with your doctor or visit a health clinic. A pregnancy test for hCG or pregnancy hormone can be done by drawing a sample of blood or with a specimen of urine. hCG levels can first be detected by a blood test about 11 days after conception and about 12 - 14 days after conception by a urine test. Or you can wait and if you don't get your period ( are late by one week, take a home pregnancy test.
Hope this answers your question,
Maryann
