Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  It takes a few weeks to a month or more to recover physically from a miscarriage. Your recovery will depend on how far along you were into the pregnancy. If your doctor prescribes antibiotics for you, it is very important to take the antibiotic exactly as prescribed.

Hi , it depends, if everything was sent out of the uterus and ultrasound shows nothing remaining in the womb, then no procedure follows, the doctors may give you some tablets to help you recover. It happened to me in 2007 and no procedure was done on me by the doctor.

How long did it take before you started seeing the results of the meds?
