Tightness due to swelling after double mastectomy

Had a dbl mastectomy Nov 29 and repeated infections all treated with wrong antibiotics. Finally got blood work swab and new meds seem to help. Was draining up to 1 litre serrous fluid up to Jan 13 but nurses instructed to stop. Last antibiotic Jan 15. now waiting to see if open wound which was packed dailing will now heal. Fear colonization on bacteria on expander = removal. Getting a row of swelling above incision, looks healthy & skin very stretched. Is this normal as I have yet to experience normal. Thanks
