My doctor recently recommended that I take a daily fiber supplement to help with digestive issues. I've been using a generic orange powder supplement, but haven't been seeing any results. Does anyone have a recommendation for the best daily fiber supplement to take? Any luck with specific brands?

It is very important to drink a lot of water, at least six to eight 8 ounce glasses, daily, regardless of which fiber supplement you choose to use.
Metamucil is one fiber supplement which contains 100% natural psyllium fiber. Benefiber is another choice. It contains wheat dextrin, which is a natural soluble fiber. It is taste-less, sugar-free and dissolves completely in noncarbonated beverages and soft foods. If
you wanted to, you could mix in your coffee or tea.
